Why pick Albert for your outbound trip to China?
The last MNC I worked with in Singapore was the largest Total Knee Replacement (medical device provider) in the world. It took me a year to convince my mom that it is worthwhile to nimble away her retirement life, especially after my Dad passed on right before Covid (God blessed he was 85 years old). As a reward to my mom's courage to go through 2 TKAs (Total Knee Arthroplasty) within 2 years at the age of 80, I started to travel with her at least once a year. So far, we have been to Spain, Germany, Australia, Norway, Sweden, and Denmark. It might be God's plan to teach me all the skill sets in taking care of the elder citizens and keeping them active by travelling together.
In the tense geo political world today, China becomes a safe haven to go. It is my homeland. I studied my undergraduate in Beijing and worked in Shenzhen, Xiamen, and Shanghai many years ago. It plays to my strength to take Singapore senior residents to China, from north to south, from east to west, to catch up with this awakened giant.

After breakfast, visit the Manchuria Royal Palace 伪满皇宫, residence of the last Emperor of China, who was sadly taken hostage by Japanese trying to rule the Chinese people. Sitting in the bus and drive around the eight ministries office building “八大部” with distinctive architectural styles.
Lunch is Dongbei Specialty food 东北本帮菜
Depart for Chang Baishan after the lunch with the destination of ErdaoBaihe Town at the foot of the Chang Bai mountain renowned for its Beauty Pines “美人松” and white birch “白桦”

Day 4: 12 Aug 2026 Wednesday Changbaishan—Yanji (154KM/2H)
After breakfast, take the EV bus 长白山天池环保车平缓游览 to go on top of the mountain famous for its volcano lake Tianchi 天池 （乘车为主，短距离步行）、then walk through the forest with a few toilet breaks to fully immerse yourself into the nature. Popular places include Julong hot springs 聚龙温泉群,Chang Bai waterfall 长白瀑布, lvYuantan lake 绿渊潭, etc.
Lunch is healthy food made of forest produce
Afternoon depart for Yanji, a border city with North Korea full of Korean culture within China boundary
